You may be eligible to receive funding to present at the following conferences and events:

Who Can Apply

Priority is given in the following order:

  1. Current Theology and Social Justice students (M.A. or M.Div concentration)
  2. Any other current 91抖阴 or School of Theology and Ministry student
  3. Any other Roberts Wesleyan University student
  4. If funds remain, faculty or staff accompanying a student presenter

Priority given to first-time presenters.

Application Details

  • Apply for funding 45 days before the event. Must have been selected as a speaker or workshop participant.
    • In your application, please demonstrate how you have helped with community or societal change. Then present theologically informed, practical ways people can help make change as well. 
  • Scholarships will be reimbursed based on actual expenses submitted with receipts.
    • While there is no fixed amount, we kindly ask that recipients remain mindful of costs, as keeping expenses reasonable allows us to support more students through this opportunity.
    • Funding is not applied to student bills or book costs.
  • A minimum of one student per year may be eligible. Depending on funds, more students may be selected. *Non-US residents are not permitted to apply due to immigration limitations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Priority is given to current 91抖阴 students in the Theology and Social Justice concentration (M.A. or M.Div).

After that, any other 91抖阴 or School of Theology & Ministry student may apply, then any Roberts Wesleyan University student.

If funds remain, faculty or staff accompanying a student presenter may also be considered.

A minimum of one student per year may be eligible. Depending on funds, more students may be selected.
